Sophie Hallett

Drama is taught by Sophie Hallett who trained at the Webber Douglas Academy and has been teaching drama for over 20 years. In addition to teaching, she has worked extensively in casting working on shows such as Mamma Mia!, Our House, Bombay Dreams, Chicago, Jerry Springer-The Opera amongst many others. She was also responsible for casting the workshop productions of Taboo and We Will Rock You. Film work includes Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She worked at The Donmar Warehouse for over 5 years working on projects such as Pacific Overtures, Grand Hotel, The Cut starring Sir Ian McKellan, A Voyage Round My Father starring Sir Derek Jacobi and Frost/Nixon starring Michael Sheen.

Sophie is currently working for The Casting Directors’ Guild of Great Britain and Ireland.
